Bruce Owen, Managing Director at Equinix
Bruce Own leads Equinix’s business in the United Kingdom. He joined Equinix in 2010 and has held multiple leadership positions in both EMEA and the US over his tenure.
Bruce’s experience ranges from Corporate Development, Finance, Chief of Staff to the CEO, and most recently, being responsible for the strategy and execution of Equinix’s Global Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB), Wellbeing and Community Impact efforts.
Bruce also serves as the President of the Equinix Foundation, which partners with organizations to advance digital inclusion, from providing access to technology and connectivity to developing the skills required for careers in technology. Bruce is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with KPMG in South Africa.
Brooke Exley, VP People Operations at Netrality Data Centers
Brooke Exley is responsible for employee experience, overseeing the entire employee life cycle from recruitment to retention and career development. Over the last 10+ years, Brooke has helped curate and develop teams in the technology and real estate sectors, with a strong focus on building exceptional personnel to further data center growth and expansion. Brooke believes that equity and inclusivity are at the core of what drives success in the workplace, both in technology and broader sectors.
Prior to joining Netrality, she worked for DuPont Fabros Technology, Digital Realty, and Forrester Construction. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management and a minor in Marketing from Marietta College.
The discussion will be led by Inge Woudstra, Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager at iMasons. Inge leads on Inclusion and Diversity for iMasons, bringing people in the industry together on inclusion. Projects include: D&I Roundtables, training volunteers on Inclusive behaviors and sharing D&I case studies. She brings 15 years of experience as a diversity and inclusion expert. Next to her work for iMasons she typically works with executive teams and D&I managers to make them make sense of D&I in their context, and develop an impactful D&I strategy and action plan. She then supports those organizations in implementing and inclusive culture by running D&I workshops and training programs for leaders and staff.
