Infrastructure Masons Announces Rebrand of DIFF as the iMasons Foundation and Appoints Hiba Agha as Executive Director

New name, leadership, and website reflect expanded commitment to education and workforce development in digital infrastructure

Washington, DC — February 18, 2026 — Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), the global nonprofit association for the digital infrastructure industry, today announced the rebranding of its charitable arm, the Digital Infrastructure Futures Fund (DIFF), as the iMasons Foundation.

The rebrand reflects the Foundation’s evolution, expanded mission, and deeper alignment with iMasons’ People Pillar—advancing education and workforce development across the digital infrastructure ecosystem. As global demand for digital infrastructure continues to accelerate, the iMasons Foundation will focus on strengthening the talent pipelines needed to support the industry’s long-term growth and resilience.

As part of this transition, Hiba Agha has been appointed Executive Director of the iMasons Foundation, effective immediately. The Foundation also unveiled its new website, https://imasons.org/initiatives/people/imasons-foundation/, which will serve as a central hub for programs, partnerships, and philanthropic engagement.

The iMasons Foundation supports initiatives across the education-to-workforce pipeline — from K–12 awareness and postsecondary education to workforce training, scholarships, and career pathways — with the goal of building a more inclusive, skilled, and future-ready digital infrastructure workforce.

“This transition is more than a name change — it reflects a clear commitment to building the talent pipelines our industry urgently needs,” said Cyre Mercedes Quiñones, CEO of Infrastructure Masons. “As digital infrastructure scales globally, we must invest earlier, more intentionally, and more collaboratively in education and workforce development. With Hiba’s leadership, the iMasons Foundation is positioned to connect education, industry demand, and community impact in a way that drives real, measurable outcomes.”

As Executive Director, Agha will lead the Foundation’s strategy, operations, fundraising, and program development. She brings deep experience in education systems, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership, and has played a central role in shaping iMasons’ education and workforce initiatives.

“The iMasons Foundation exists to turn opportunity into access—and access into outcomes,” said Hiba Agha, Executive Director of the iMasons Foundation. “This rebrand allows us to clearly articulate who we are, what we do, and why it matters, while reinforcing our commitment to building real, industry-connected pathways into careers in digital infrastructure.”

The new brand identity and website reflect the Foundation’s focus on translating education into employment outcomes, including:

  • Education access and awareness across K–12, community colleges, trades, and universities, introducing learners to real career pathways in digital infrastructure
  • Industry-aligned workforce development, including internships, apprenticeships, certifications, and job-matching opportunities with iMasons member companies
  • Scholarships and student support that reduce financial barriers and accelerate entry into digital infrastructure roles
  • Employer-driven partnerships that align talent development with real workforce demand across the iMasons global community.

The iMasons Foundation will continue to operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, working closely with iMasons members, partners, and local chapters to deliver measurable impact across the global digital infrastructure ecosystem.
