New leadership team reinforces commitment to advocacy, access, and opportunity across Latin America’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Nashville, TN — April 1st, 2026 — Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), the global nonprofit association for the digital infrastructure industry, today announced the relaunch of its LatinNet Member Focus Group, a community-driven initiative designed to strengthen collaboration, amplify regional voice, and expand global opportunities for professionals across Latin America.
The relaunch is led by a dedicated leadership team, with Ivan Ospina as Lead and Luis Schilling as Co-Chair, alongside Ana Franco and Gina Bonatti, who bring deep industry expertise and a shared commitment to advancing the region’s role in the global digital infrastructure ecosystem.
LatinNet is built on two core objectives:
Position the Region for Global Growth
LatinNet serves as a unified voice to highlight the value Latin America brings to the digital infrastructure landscape. From power availability to emerging market opportunities, the group aims to position the region as a critical player in supporting global growth. Establish Latin America as a critical hub for digital infrastructure by highlighting its strengths in power availability, land, and high-growth markets. LatinNet acts as a unified voice to elevate the region’s role in supporting global demand.

Facilitate Connection and Opportunity
The network is designed to foster meaningful relationships and facilitate access to international exposure. Members can leverage the LatinNet community to exchange knowledge, support one another, and connect to global industry hubs particularly the United States, where iMasons has its largest footprint.
Operating under iMasons’ core principle of leaving companies at the door, LatinNet creates a trusted environment where individuals collaborate openly to support one another and the broader ecosystem.
“Latin America is not a secondary market. It is a critical part of the future of digital infrastructure. LatinNet exists to ensure the region is not only seen, but actively connected to global opportunities, capital, and leadership. The region’s talent is a key driver of industry growth, and we are here to enable those connections and expand its global presence,” said Ivan Ospina, LatinNet Chair.
Latin America is not a future bet, it’s already delivering. The fundamentals are proven, the demand is real, and the infrastructure is scaling today. What we’re seeing now is acceleration at a global level. The region is stepping into a leadership role and is ready to support the next wave of digital growth,” said Ana Franco, International Business Director, Elea Data Centers
Latin America represents one of the most dynamic and fast-growing digital regions in the world, with a population of over 650 million people and a combined GDP exceeding $6 trillion. Highly urbanized and increasingly connected, the region has become a major hub for digital innovation and infrastructure growth.
With over 75% internet penetration and a predominantly mobile-first user base, Latin America has consistently demonstrated strong adoption of technologies that expand access and opportunity. From the rapid rise of fintech platforms and real-time payment systems to the widespread use of AI-driven tools and digital services, the region has shown a clear ability to embrace and scale transformative technologies.
This combination of scale, connectivity, and early adoption positions Latin America as a critical market for the next wave of digital infrastructure and innovation.
As part of this relaunch, LatinNet will continue to expand its presence through active engagement with local chapters in Mexico, Brazil, and the Southern Cone, creating more opportunities for regional participation and global alignment.
“This initiative is deeply personal to me. As a Latina, I’ve spent years advocating for the region and have seen its incredible talent and potential.” said Gina Bonatti, Chief of Staff & Strategy, Infrastructure Masons. “At iMasons, we are committed to supporting our partners and expanding access to global opportunities. The momentum behind LatinNet is powerful, and we’re excited to see its continued growth and impact.”
iMasons invites professionals across Latin America and beyond to join the community, contribute to its growth, and be part of shaping the future of digital infrastructure.
