As the Chair of a Key iMasons Committee, Cronin Will Lead Education Initiatives
Infrastructure Masons (iMasons) has appointed Dennis Cronin as Chair of their Education Committee, a committee responsible for planning and executing one of iMasons most important strategic pillars – to help align the public education and private training sectors to prepare people to enter and succeed in the digital infrastructure industry.
“My goals are threefold. First, to generate an awareness of the significant and rewarding careers available in the digital infrastructure industry. Second, to create the educational pathways for the next generation of digital infrastructure employees. Lastly, to establish early career opportunities that give the next generation the experience they need to excel in the industry” said Cronin
“Dennis Cronin has the industry / education partnership experience to continue to grow our educational initiatives to address the talent and diversity gaps in the industry. I look forward to supporting him, and our energetic Education Committee, and our training, college, and university partners in these efforts.” said Julie Albright, PhD, iMasons Board Member and Executive Sponsor of iMasons Education Initiatives.
Dennis Cronin has over 40 years of mission critical experience in design, construction and operation of data centers. He is the Principal Consultant of Resilient Solutions, LLC, a mission-critical consultancy. Last year Dennis accepted the role of CEO Americas of the Data Center Incident Reporting Network (DCIRN), a non-profit initiative to increase the safety and reliability of digital infrastructure by creating an open but anonymized platform to share information and lessons-learned about data center failures and other operating anomalies. Dennis is on the board of multiple chapters of 7×24 Exchange and currently serves as Education Chair for the Carolinas Chapter. In 2019 he received an honorary doctorate in Mission Critical Operations from AATC.
