Objectives
- Create a community of datacenter professionals, educational institutions and potential future employers.
- Utilize digital platforms to drive awareness, collaboration and link people to opportunities including scholarships, education training programs, mentorship etc.
- Partner with local schools to promote Technology Days, career workshops, internships and mentorships.
- Align with Industry leaders to leverage existing programs
- Attract, retain and develop the next generation of infrastructure leaders.
- Educate and encourage iMasons on how to tap this exploding community with a median age of 24
IM Hispanic/LatinX Group Co-Chairs
Claudia Massey is the Global Vice President of Business Operations for the Cloud & Service Provider Segment for Schneider Electric. In her current role, she leads a team that integrates digital transformation with operational excellence to achieve a consistent full life cycle experience to cloud and colocation clients globally. She has over 20 years of experience working for Fortune 500 Companies, and is experienced in building digital operations, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and quality teams within the IT industry.
In 2019 Claudia was recognized as one of the top 100 most influential and notable Hispanic professionals in the IT industry by Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC). In 2018, she was appointed as a commissioner to the Mexican American Culture Center (MACC) Advisory Board in Austin, Texas. Claudia was also highlighted and recognized as a member of CRN’s Women of the Channel list for 2017, which identifies female executives in the IT channel who exhibit outstanding expertise and vision in their roles.
Claudia is very passionate about diversity and inclusion, as she founded the Women Professional Development Network (WPDN) group and the Hispanic in Partnership (HIP) group at Applied Materials. As part of the MACC Advisory Board, Claudia volunteers her time to bring awareness of the Latin Community in Austin and to drive better conditions for Latin artists in her city.
In addition to be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Claudia holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio Texas, and a Masters of Manufacturing Management from The Pennsylvania State University.
Cyre Mercedes Denny is a Global Program Director for the Cloud & Service Provider Segment of Schneider Electric. She works to translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide programs, performance management, and annual operations planning. Cyre leads a global team of high-performing professionals collaborating with top executives in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and resource needs. She has over 15 years of experience working with Fortune 500 Companies, leveraging her strong leadership abilities to approach business needs from a creative point of view.
Cyre is very passionate about education and diversity & inclusion. She is on the board of the Women in Schneider Electric Resource Group and is an avid mentor for the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC) and schools in the Bronx, NYC. Cyre also established the a cross state diversity and inclusion network in the DC, MD, & VA region uniting multiple offices and hundreds of employees to support numerous D&I causes.
She is also a wife and mother to 2 beautiful children ages 13 and 7 and enjoys supporting their sports teams, robotics, and art clubs. Her hobbies include cooking, mountain biking, and traveling.
