Global Digital Infrastructure Advisory Board
In partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, the Global Digital Infrastructure (GDI) Advisory Board plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the program. The Board brings together academic leaders and industry practitioners from the subsea cable and data center sectors, alongside experts in policy, sustainability, and research, to examine critical issues at the intersection of digital infrastructure, data, energy, and society.
Informed by Berkeley’s research leadership, including the work of Professor Nicole Starosielski, the Advisory Board includes representatives from the iMasons community as well as iMasons Foundation leadership. By integrating academic insight with real-world industry expertise, the Board provides strategic guidance on the program’s educational, research, and engagement initiatives and informs the ongoing development of the Global Digital Infrastructure Certificate curriculum, helping ensure it remains rigorous, relevant, and aligned with evolving industry needs.
