Dallas-based technology executive and U.S. Army combat veteran to lead member growth and engagement across North and Latin America.
DALLAS, TEXAS — August 14, 2026 — Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), the global nonprofit uniting the people who build and manage the world’s digital infrastructure, today announced that Didiar Padilla has joined the organization as Regional Director, Americas. In this role, Padilla will grow the iMasons community across the Americas, building a more robust network of partners throughout North America (NAM) and Latin America (LATAM) that gives members greater access to, and understanding of, emerging technologies, regional markets, best practices, and regulatory landscapes shaping the digital world.
Padilla brings more than 26 years of technology industry experience to iMasons, including 15 years working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. He joins the organization following roles as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Moder and Director of Operations at OurCalling, a Dallas-based nonprofit that helps individuals transition from homelessness into stable community housing. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership positions at Wells Fargo and Citibank, where he focused his efforts on building global teams across LATAM/EMEA/ASPAC as a SVP and Executive Director of IT Service Management, Service Reliability, Continuous Service Improvement and Vendor Management. Padilla has also worked as a network engineer in various organizations building and supporting enterprise networks and data center design and builds.
A former U.S. Army combat veteran, Padilla served 15 years with multiple overseas deployments before transitioning into the technology industry. He was named to the HITEC 100 Most Influential Hispanics in Technology in 2021-2022 and has served as an Executive Mentor in HITEC’s Emerging Executive Program, supporting the development of Latino leaders in tech.
“Didiar has deep experience guiding global teams, driving solutions and supporting major client growth across the tech and financial services sectors,” said Cyre Mercedes Quiñones, Chief Executive Officer of Infrastructure Masons. “A former U.S. Army combat veteran with 15 years of service and multiple deployments around the world, he brings leadership, discipline, clarity and mission-driven execution. Welcome aboard, Didiar. We look forward to building the digital future together.”
“Infrastructure Masons is more than a nonprofit, more than a network; it’s a mission,” said Padilla. “Throughout my career in banking, technology and military service, I’ve always been drawn to work that makes a difference. The opportunity to work across Latin America, North America and around the world to connect people, foster collaboration, develop future leaders and help build a greater digital future was simply too meaningful to pass up.”
