iM Women is Member Resource Group that aims to increase diversity and the number of women pursuing careers in infrastructure, in addition to increasing the visibility and the career advancement of women currently in the industry. In their pursuit, it has come time to expand globally.
With the growth of the digital economy and the increasing importance of data centers, this iM Women recognizes the need for more diversity and inclusion in the industry. By appointing regional leaders, they will be able to better serve our members by providing tailored support and resources to women in specific geographic areas. iM Women is proud to announce the appointment of two leaders for the APAC and EMEA region.
APAC Regional Chair
Donna Bridgman
With a career spanning engineering services, digital infrastructure, executive management, professional training and governance, Donna is excited to support IM Women in APAC. She brings significant experience in Data Centres, high-technology and business continuity sectors, gained through career positions in APAC, Europe and the United Kingdom.
As Vice President – Design & Engineering APAC, for Vantage Data Centers, Donna is responsible for the overall executive leadership of design and engineering solutions for data centre expansion into new APAC markets; leading and scaling a team of multi-disciplinary subject matter experts to provide exceptional design and engineering capability, driving sustainability and innovation initiatives to support climate impact goals and the reputation of the business with its customers.
Donna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. She is an Engineering Fellow, a practicing Chartered Engineer, an International Professional Engineer (IntPE), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Business Continuity Practitioner (MBCI), an accredited Trainer, and Member of the Institute of Directors (NZ).
Throughout her executive career, Donna has held a range of key design, client-centric, people leadership, technical portfolio and operational management roles, including leading mission-critical technical services for large enterprise, driving technical excellence and digital transformation initiatives across the diverse cultural demographic and time zones of the wider APAC region.
Donna enjoys engaging globally with professionals and peers around opportunities within the rapidly advancing digital infrastructure sector. She stays connected through involvement in industry events, as a Trainer, and as a judge on global Awards panels. Donna is motivated to encourage data centre skills acquisition in a talent and diversity constrained market and is both proud and privileged to be a woman in the data centre sector who can share knowledge, learnings and experiences acquired since the dot.com technology boom.
EMEA Regional Chair
Suzanne O’Toole
Suzanne O’Toole is General Manager for Strategy and Planning at Microsoft Cloud Operations. She is responsible for Strategy development and deployment, including overseeing workforce planning, business process management and business performance.
Suzanne has over 20 years’ experience spanning across automotive, aerospace, and technology industries having held various positions in Operations, Supply Chain and procurement. Suzanne spent 13 years at Microsoft in various businesses before taking on a COO role at Vodafone infrastructure. In June 2022 Suzanne returned to Microsoft to take on the newly created strategy role.
Throughout her career Suzanne has been passionate about helping build representation for women and other underrepresented groups. Suzanne actively supports women in technology through her mentoring, volunteering and leading of women’s initiatives.
