Australia Local Chapter Meeting
The overarching aim of iMasons is to “Connect, Grow and Give Back“. An iMasons Local Chapter is a geographically specified area or region where the Digital Infrastructure Industry (End Users and Partners) benefit from regional focus and coordination. Whenever iMasons meet – we leave our companies at the door.
iMasons launched our Australia Local Chapter at a meeting held in conjunction with the Connected Cloud & Data Center Edge 2020 Conference. Dean Neslon, iMasons Chairman, provided the conference keynote, as well as participated in the Local Chapter meeting.
77 new iMasons sign up on the 1st iMasons Exhibition Booth!
At CCDC iMasons were delighted to have our 1st ever booth within an exhibition (normally we host workshops within exhibitions) and a big thanks to Beth Gentle (iMason Australia Chapter leadership team) who made the booth a reality and for organising everything related to the booth – from design to production.
Also pictured – Parastoo Amin – iMasons 1st PhD Scholarship Recipient giving Beth and the rest of the team a hand on the booth. Thanks to the rest of the iM Australia team
It was a great success with 77 new iMason members signed up – welcome to iMasons
iM Interactive Workshop – “Future Jobs” iMasons interactive workshop.
Dr. Terri Simpkin – Education Committee Chair at Infrastructure Masons
Dean Nelson – Chairman & Founder at Infrastructure Masons
The workshop was attended by over 100 individuals representing small, large and hyperscale organizations within the DI sector as well as some vendors.
Data gathered provided unique insight into the current challenges organizations face in alleviating difficulties in accessing qualified, experienced and motivated staff. The report of findings will be available to iMason members via the iM App. To become a member and access the app, please click here.
