About the Event:
As digital infrastructure becomes the backbone of every economy, the decisions made today by industry and government will shape the world for decades.
Informed by feedback from our Advisory Council and the success of pilot visits in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil, iMasons is proud to formally launch the iMasons Policy Leadership Exchange — a global series of high-level delegation visits bringing together digital infrastructure leaders and government officials to align on strategies for scaling digital infrastructure responsibly.
The iMasons Policy Leadership Exchange: Argentina & Paraguay is the first in this series. This first official exchange will take place from May 11 – May 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Asunción, Paraguay.
While the program is still taking shape, we look forward to bringing the broader community into that conversation as it evolves and additional planning sessions soon.
This mission of is built around 5 core goals:
- Industry & Policy Alignment – Bridging private sector expertise and government policy to create enabling environments for infrastructure growth.
- Responsible Scaling – Ensuring the expansion of digital infrastructure does so with sustainability and long-term community benefit in mind.
- Knowledge Exchange – Providing leaders with firsthand insight into the regulatory landscape and investment climate, while offering government officials access to global industry best practices.
- Community Impact – Establish tangible local benefits, including job creation, digital inclusion, and workforce development, aligns with infrastructure growth.
- Relationship Building – Connecting iMasons’ global network with key decision-makers in South America to facilitate future collaboration.
Who Is Participating & Why
This first exchange is focused specifically on large-scale power offtake, data center demand, and AI infrastructure growth.
Given that scope, participation is open to iMasons partners and iCA member organizations in good standing who qualify as hyperscale or neocloud operators with active, planned, or interested infrastructure in the region, defined as:
- Hyperscaler: operates or leases 100MW+ of data center capacity globally.
- Neocloud: provides GPU/AI cloud infrastructure at scale to enterprise customers
The iMasons Policy Leadership Exchange is being designed to represent the full ecosystem over time, and future engagements will reflect the entirety of our global network and industry.
