

About the Event:
The iMasons UK Chapter held a members meeting on February 9th at the CBRE office in London. The event was part of a new initiative for the UK Chapter, which will focus each of its 2023 meetings on a core iMasons pillar.
This meeting was centered on Diversity and Inclusion, highlighting the importance of creating a more equitable and inclusive industry.
The meeting began with a welcome from the newly appointed UK Chapter Lead, Lee Heggan, Director at CBRE DCS.
A panel of subject matter experts, including former and current iMasons Diversity and Inclusion Chairs Hannah Ormondroyd and Dame Dawn Childs, led a discussion on the benefits of engaging a more neurodivergent workforce.

- The difference between neurodiversity and neurodivergence
- Benefits and opportunities of neurodivergence within the digital infrastructure industry
- How to cater for neurodiversity and neurodivergence in the workplace
- Improvements you can make for better equality and inclusivity
