Curt joined Apple in late 2017 as the head of Hardware and Advanced System Engineering for Apple’s Internet Services Organization. Curt is responsible for leading his organization to develop Apple’s next generation hyperscale server and storage platforms. Curt leads the team in architecting and executing the development of next generation platforms and technologies for Apple’s internet services data center solutions.
Prior to working at Apple, Curt spent 27 years at HPE leading design, development, and manufacturing of servers and storage for large-scale datacenters. He spent 15 years of his tenure as an executive managing the development of industry standard server and storage products. Curt was selected to found, build, and lead HP’s Hyperscale Engineering organization. As a senior director at HPE, Curt was responsible for server/storage product development, direct support of customer sales, and execution of business growth plans. Curt drove the technical engagement and acted as a trusted technical advisor for key cloud service providers, telcos, and financial services customers deploying hyperscale IT.
In 2017, Curt was selected to be an Open19 Board Member and representative from HPE for the Open19 Foundation to promote open data center and edge solutions.
Curt holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. Curt recently relocated from Houston, Texas to the California Bay Area.
Curt joined iMasons in 2016 and the iMasons Advisory Council in 2018.
