Smart Energy Decisions announces the iMasons Climate Accord has joined the Net Zero Forum, taking place September 12-14, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona, as a contributing content partner.
Infrastructure Masons (iMasons), a non-profit professional association, has assembled the iMasons Climate Accord (ICA), a historic cooperative of over 150 companies devoted to decarbonizing data center power by reducing carbon in digital infrastructure materials, products, and energy. ICA members include hyperscale companies AWS, Google, Meta, and Microsoft, which represent some of the largest digital infrastructure portfolios in the world, and over 60 colocation data center providers, product, service, and investment firms that fund, build and operate the foundation of the internet and drive the data center supply chain.
ICA will conduct a special two-hour workshop on Decarbonizing Data Center Power at the Net Zero Forum on Monday, September 12, which will be available to ICA members and Net Zero Forum attendees. “The work the ICA will be doing to decarbonize data center power has tremendous potential for impact. We’re thrilled and proud to host an ICA in-person meeting and look forward to supporting their future efforts,” said Lisa Carroll, Director of Community Development for Smart Energy Decisions.
The Net Zero Forum is a first-of-its-kind event designed to accelerate the development and execution of large energy customers’ Net Zero strategies. Energy and sustainability executives from large energy customers – including commercial, industrial, institutional (higher education and healthcare), and government – attend as an important step in the journey to reduce the carbon emissions of their organization and achieve their Net Zero ambitions. This unique event is the ONLY EVENT devoted entirely to their Net Zero success, with opportunities to learn, network with peers, and conduct business planning sessions with prospective suppliers who can help them succeed. Industry executives and suppliers interested in attending the Net Zero Forum can get more details at the Forum website.
SED has limited availability for additional content partners who would like to make this unique Net Zero Forum content, networking, and connections available to their members. For more information, contact Lisa Carroll at lisa@smartenergydecisions.com.
