Compute North Becomes Foundation Partner of Infrastructure Masons to Champion Sustainability for Data Centers Worldwide
“Growth in U.S.-based hosting is driven by demand for more reliable infrastructure, stable economic environments, and the availability of cleaner energy,” said Compute North’s CEO and Co-Founder, Dave Perrill. “Compute North is driven to make meaningful contributions to the growing digital ecosystem and to help our partners reduce their environmental impact in the process. We are honored and excited to collaborate with iMasons’ extraordinary group of industry leaders to share best practices for forward-looking, sustainable solutions.”
In addition to announcing its Foundation Partner membership with iMasons, Compute North has joined the iMasons’ Climate Accord (ICA). The ICA is a historic assembly of companies that represent some of the largest digital infrastructure portfolios in the world, with a shared goal to reduce carbon in digital infrastructure materials, products, and power. As a founding member of the ICA, Compute North will collaborate with over 50 other companies in the data infrastructure sector, including AWS, Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
Alongside other leading technology companies, Compute North will support iMasons’ mission to provide infrastructure executives and technical professionals with an independent forum to network, learn, and give back to the community.
“Compute North joining us as a Foundation Partner and an ICA member will have a great impact on our organization,” said Jeff Omelchuck, Executive Director, Infrastructure Masons. “We will benefit from their contributions of industry knowledge and dedication to sustainability and education initiatives.”
