About the Event
On July 3, 2019, Infrastructure Masons convened a dynamic group of industry professionals in Seattle, Washington, for an intimate “Food For Thought” fundraising dinner.
The evening was designed to help our members connect, grow, and give back. It was a fantastic opportunity for networking, bringing together members who had never met with others who were reconnecting after years of working at different companies.
The attendees represented a diverse range of experience from leading companies across the digital infrastructure landscape.
Throughout the evening, guests had a wonderful time sharing stories, reminiscing, and enjoying a meal together in a collaborative atmosphere.
A highlight of the dinner was the awarding of Education Champion medals to key sponsors and supporters, recognizing their outstanding commitment to iMasons’ mission on behalf of our leadership team.
The Purpose of the Dinner
The iMasons “Food for Thought” dinners are a cornerstone of our commitment to giving back to the community. These events are designed to raise money for scholarships that support our education challenge. A key focus of this initiative is to foster diversity and inclusion by awarding 50% of the scholarships to women and other underrepresented groups within our industry. Through the generous support of our members and partners, these gatherings powerfully demonstrate our collective ability to make a meaningful difference.
A Special Thanks to Our Hosts
This successful event would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our hosts, Christian Belady and Mark Monroe from Microsoft. We also extend a special thank you to Tom Traugott from EdgeCore and Nancy Novak from Compass Data Centers, whose significant contributions during the evening were instrumental to the event’s success. We are continually inspired by dedicated champions of our D&I and Education efforts, like Amber Caramella, whose passion helps drive these important initiatives forward. Thank you to all our attendees for an amazing evening.
