In Memory of Ana Franco
Ana Franco was a remarkable member of our community, a source of light that seemed to radiate from her in extraordinary abundance. She believed deeply in the power of human connection and lived that belief through the warmth, encouragement, and care she gave so freely to others.
Ana’s impact lives on in the people she inspired, the relationships she forged, and the next generation she welcomed into our industry. We honor her by carrying forward what she gave so generously to our community: connection, encouragement, and genuine care for others.
Ana will be deeply missed. Her impact will endure.
"Mom, what is a data center?"
Ana knew that if we want the next generation to build the digital infrastructure of tomorrow, we first have to help them understand why it matters today.
She answered with The Great Data Center Adventure.
In late 2024, Ana authored and launched her first book, a STEM-packed adventure that brings the hidden world of data centers to life for children ages 4–8. From colorful cables to buzzing servers, she made the complex technology behind video games, streaming, virtual doctor visits, and video calls fun, relatable, and easy to understand.
Carry Ana’s legacy forward.
Put her book in the hands of the next generation and inspire them to imagine their future in digital infrastructure.
Through Their Eyes
Ana believed in opening the world of digital infrastructure to the next generation.
These drawings bring that vision to life.
Created by children inspired to imagine, explore, and see technology in a whole new way, they are a fitting tribute to Ana’s legacy: inspiring curiosity today to shape the possibilities of tomorrow.
