On June 3, 2021, iMasons hosted the webinar, Toolbox for Mental Wellbeing in a High Growth Sector. Panelists included Dr. Eva Ritvo, Dr. Laura Baker, and Dr. Julie Albright.
Not all stress is bad; a certain amount helps to keep us motivated, alert, and productive. The downside of prolonged stress, however, is an overactive nervous system, which can result in depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, changes in appetite, increased substance use, cardiovascular issues, and even strokes. All of which seemed to have increased during the pandemic.
