Our panel of regional experts, Juliet Ehimuan, Director, Google, West Africa, Tunde Coker, Managing Director, Rack Centre, Stephane Duproz, CEO, Africa Data Centres and moderator, Lee Perrin, Data Center Business Lead, CBRE met on May 27th, 2021 at the Infrastructure Masons EMEA Regional Member Summit to discuss the digital transformation happening in Africa.

The technological developments in the region are driving new opportunities for growth in the region. The focus on these growing opportunities will be met with commercial solutions that will help build this ecosystem. Location is a key tool to optimize global networks in Africa and panelists expect to see a large jump in driving employment in the region.

Panelists discussed the policies that encourage tech investments, national strategies that encourage digitization and the partnership between private and public sector within the region and what that means for overall transformation.
