iMasons Receives Contribution to IM Scholarship Fund
Sureel and Bijal Choksi Contribute $10,000 to IM Scholarship Fund
In June iMasons announced that, to help address the talent gap in our industry, we launched the IM Scholarship program for students in or entering any of 28 different high-quality digital infrastructure-specific training and education programs at 11 different institutions, with the intention of awarding at least 50% of the scholarships to women applicants. We are proud to announce today that we received a very generous $10,000 contribution to the IM Scholarship program from iMasons Advisory Council member Sureel Choksi and his wife Bijal.
“I learned at a recent iMasons meeting about the new scholarship program, focused on funding students, and in particular women, who are interested in our industry,” said Sureel. “We are really excited to support this program, which will drive increased interest in our high growth industry and improve diversity.”
Contributions made directly to iMasons are not generally tax deductible for individuals, but iMasons has partnered with a 501(c)3 charitable organization to enable contributions to the IM Scholarship Fund to be tax deductible. Contributions made in this way are applied 100% to scholarships. To learn more, or to make a donation, contact Jeff Omelchuck, Executive Director of iMasons.
