Google Student Tour
In June, a tour was organized for undergraduates from The University of Reno (UNR), who were visiting London to study International Business. Infrastructure Masons Member, Marc Marazzi, has been supporting student visits for over 5 years reached out to iMasons to assist with an interesting company and venue. Google London was delighted to help – thanks a million to Dave Horner, also an iMasons Member.
The visit was a great success and very enjoyable. Google provided an overview of their Network Infrastructure, which was particularly interesting to the students in order to understand how Google coordinates their activities over many countries, and how Google keeps pace with the growing market needs. Jim McClenahan, Director of Corporate Outreach at UNR said “Thanks so much to Google and the iMasons. The undergraduates had a fantastic time at Google in the UK, and all know so much more about how the digital age is shaping the world we live in.”
